Presented by: Dr. Gina Willett (Ph.D., R.D.) 4 CONTACT HOURS, $69 This course will be offered: Special Afternoon Webinar Fri, September 8, 2023 (12:00pm – 4:30pm Eastern) COURSE DESCRIPTION
Can we use nutrition to help us feel and think better? Nutritional psychiatry (nutritional neuroscience) is an emerging field that explores how nutritional factors are linked with human emotions, behavior and cognition. This 4-hour course, “Nutritional Psychiatry and Brain Health,” will address two key areas. The first is the link between diet and mental/emotional health, or how mood follows food. This course asks the questions: How does the S.A.D. (standard American diet) promote depression and anxiety? Can a dietary supplement really boost our mood or ease depression? Which dietary components and dietary patterns are beneficial for mental health, and why? Register Here |
